Published on Old Series one-inch sheets 78NE, NW and SE in 1852. Anglesey resurveyed on the six-inch scale by E. Greenly. Published on the one-inch scale on Anglesey Special Sheet in 1920. Mainland resurveyed on the six-inch scale by M.J.C. Nutt and D. Price with small areas by D.A.C. Mills and M.F. Howells 1966-70. Borehole amendments to 1984 by M.J.C. Nutt. E.H. Francis, District Geologist. Anglesey mainly after Greenly (see above) with a resurvey of the Carboniferous outcrops by J.R. Davies, 1983. R.A.B. Bazley, District Geologist. Sea bed sediment map based on surveys by the Department of Oceanography, University College of North Wales, Menai Bridge. Interpreted and compiled by F.C.D. Dewes, 1984, supervised by Professor D. Taylor Smith.
