613 FEMUD  Iron-mud - A type of iron-sediment. In the Rock Classification Scheme, it is one in which over 75% of the clasts are smaller than 32 µm. The definition of ferrocarbonatite is as shown in British Geological Survey Research Report RR/99/06, section 6.1 and figs. 25, 26. 622 FESND  Iron-sand - A type of iron-sediment. In the Rock Classification Scheme, it is one in which clasts are predominantly 32 µm to 2 mm, with less than 75% of the clasts smaller than 32 µm and less than 25% larger than 2 mm.
