Lithological Description: Diamicton, clayey, sandy, gravelly, dark yellowish brown to orangey brown. Containing much decomposed calc-silicate rock and clasts of quartzite, psammite, gabbro and probable Triassic sandstone.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Unconformable on bedrock, commonly decomposed.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Unconformable contact with Old Hythe Till Formation or glacitectonic contact with Whitehills Glacigenic Formation.
Thickness: >5m
Geographical Limits: Scotland sheet 96 (Portsoy).
