Definition of Lower Boundary: Transitional. Base of limestone-siltstone sequence of above type, resting conformably on calcareous siltstones of the underlying Tickwood Beds; lateral passage to reef facies.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Base of thinly bedded crinoidal limestones of the overlying (undivided) uppermost part of the Much Wenlock Limestone Formation.
Thickness: 15 - 30m
Geographical Limits: North Shropshire.
