Lithological Description: Interbedded sandstones (fine-grained, pale brown, laminated in part), limestones (calcarenites grainstones, ooidal in part) and dolomites (yellow, flaggy) containing abundant quartz pebbles near top (between underlying and overlying dark grey bioclastic limestones of the Coupland Sike and Breakyneck Scar limestones respectively).

Definition of Upper Boundary: Not defined.
Thickness: 15 metres, which is approx. thickness to neighbourhood of Raisbeck, beyond which it thickens to c.80 metres at west edge of NY60NW where it is a largely hard, laminated sandstone formation.
