Lithological Description: Gravel, flint with chert, variably clayey, silty and sandy.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Erosional on bedrock.

Geographical Limits: Forms an almost continuous outcrop adjacent to the western arm of the Eastern Yar River alluvial tract from north of Whitwell through to Bohemia Corner southeast of Rookley, Isle of Wight.
