Lithological Description: Reddish brown, sandy, silty, clayey, stony diamicton with clasts of greywacke, red sandstone, siltstone and grey granodiorite. Generally very compact.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Unconformable on bedrock.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Sharp, erosional contact with deposits of the overlying Plumpe Sand and Gravel Formation (or members thereof).
Thickness: 20 m.
Geographical Limits: Solway lowlands.
