Geographical Limits: Found dominantly on the south (north-facing) side of the lower Wharfe valley (Yorkshire), but also occurs more patchily along the northern valley side and in tributary valleys. The deposit forms a recognisable solifluction "terrace" between essentially superfical deposit-free ground above and flat-topped erosional benches in the valley below.
