Definition of Upper Boundary: Not seen, but mapping shows unit to be spatially associated with the Grimley Andesite, with which it may in part be gradational.
Thickness: 0-450m
Geographical Limits: North-western Charnwood Forest, between High Cademan and Grace Dieu Wood.
