Lithological Description: Psammite and micaceous psammite, grey and flaggy, with thin micaceous partings. To the east of the A9 road typically grey to pink quartzose psammite and interbanded psammite and micaceous psammite with prominent calc-silicate rock concretions. Minor units of semipelite, locally with associated thin quartzite beds.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Not seen.

Thickness: Unknown.
Geographical Limits: Southeast of Loch Ericht and Glen Truim extending southwest to Loch Rannoch and northeast to Glen Tromie. In southeast part of sheet 63E (Dalwhinnie).
