Unconformable on bedrock or conformable on Mill of Forest Till Formation or Ury Silts Formation. |
Definition of Upper Boundary: |
Either at the ground surface or unconformably overlain by Flandrian deposits. |
Thickness: |
Very variable, generally 5 to 10m; more than 23m proved in boreholes. |
Geographical Limits: |
Howe of Mearns area and flanking the coastline between Stonehaven and the mouth of the River Dee. |
