Definition of Lower Boundary: Succeeds the largely unbedded siltstones and mudstones of the Lady Burn Formation.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Succeeded by bluish grey soft nodular mudstones of the Cliff Member of the South Threave Formation.
Thickness: c.40m.
Geographical Limits: Girvan area, southwest Scotland.
