Definition of Upper Boundary: Succeeded by the Gorse Member of the Doularg Formation, consisting of poorly-bedded mudstone with decalcified limestone nodules containing a brachiopod and trilobite fauna.
Thickness: 1.5m seen, possibly up to 4m total.
Geographical Limits: Girvan area, southwest Scotland.
