Definition of Lower Boundary: Unconformable on pre-Quarternary bedrock.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Overlain by gravelly diamictons of the Low Wath Till Member of the Seascale Glacigenic Formation.
Thickness: Typically between 2.7 and 5.0m thick.
