| Definition of Lower Boundary: | Sharp; unconformable on reddened Carboniferous rocks. | ||
| Definition of Upper Boundary: | Sharp; upward passage into late Permian mudstones (Marl Slate), dolostone or dolomitic siltstone (Cadeby Formation) or sandstone (Lenton Sandstone Formation). | ||
