Lithological Description: Pale cream and grey to buff, sparsely fossiliferous and commonly cross-stratified, finely oolitic dolomite.
Definition of Lower Boundary: Drawn at base of pale grey oolitic dolomite where it rests on the Wetherby Member; overlies the lower dolomite of the Hampole Beds.
Definition of Upper Boundary: Drawn at base of mudstones of the Edlington Formation.
Thickness: Up to approx. 40 metres.
Geographical Limits: Eastern England, (Yorkshire Province), near outcrop.
Parent Unit: Cadeby Formation (CDF)
