Ussher. J.H. Blake. H.W. Bristow and H.B. Woodward in 1871-9. This Provisional Edition is based on the revised Old Series Sheets and on geological survey on the six-inch scale by Dr. B.D. Webby of Bristol University in 1959-62 (Brendon Hills area) and by Mr. M.D. Lucas of Bristol University in 1957-9 and Dr. E.E. Swarbrick of London University in 1959-61 (areas south of Dulverton).
