Minor revisions and addition of Drift and Chipping Norton Limestone by H.G. Dines in 1931. Published at 1:63 360 scale in 1933. Resurveyed at 1:10 000 scale by M.G. Sumbler, A.J.M. Barron, A. Horton, A.N. Morigi and I.T. Williamson between 1982 and 1994, incorporating information from 1:10 560 scale surveys of parts of the district by B. C. Worssam, A.W. Kemp, G. Bisson, P. Toghill, R. Cave, K.J. Ackerman, E.G. Poole. R.G. Thurrell and B. Kelk between 1952 and 1973. Interpretation of deep structure by T.C. Pharaoh, 1995. A.J. Wadge, R.A.B. Bazley, E.R. Shephard-Thom, R.W.
